A mixed farm with pasture, livestock and arable crops, where we are proud to produce British food, host school visits and undertake a wide range of environmental work, such as pond restoration and traditional hedge-laying to create wildlife habitats and increase biodiversity across 3,000 acres of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Zero Tillage Direct Sowing Drill

Rural Surrey LEADER has provided a grant which part-funds a zero tillage, direct sowing drill which utilises the latest technology to establish crops.

The innovative techniques cause very low soil disturbance, eliminating erosion, minimising herbicide use, reducing the use of fossil fuels whilst retaining high levels of nutrients. The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas.
